Did you know that Estonia has a rich history in knitting? Did you always want to learn Estonian lace or colorwork? You don’t know how to knit? Not a problem. These courses are open to all – men and women.
Angelina Hum, a certified Knitting and Crochet instructor, will be offering a series of three knitting classes, starting at the end of January, 2014. Each Sunday afternoon class comprises two sessions lasting 2 hours each:
Learn To Knit – February 2 & 9, 2014 from 3 to 5 pm
Estonian Colorwork – March 2 & 9, 2014 from 3 to 5 pm
Estonian Lace – March 16 & 23, 2014 from 3 to 5 pm
Cost: $25. for two 2-hour sessions ($50 for non-MES members)
The classes will be held at St. John’s Estonian Ev. Lutheran Church 4345 Marcil Ave. in NDG (H4A 2Z9).
