Merike Estna has 11 paintings on show during this exhibition. Born in Estonia in 1980, Ms Estna studied Performance Art at the Academia Non Grata, and has a BA in painting from the Estonian Academy of Art. She then moved to London and completed a Masters in Art Practice at Goldsmiths College in 2009.

Cinémathèque Québécoise, Montreal

The opening reception to the first Panorama Balte et Nordique ‘Film Festival’ in Montreal was well attended. The first two films shown were Püha Tõnu Kiusamine (Estonian) and Taulukauppiaat (Finnish). This event underlines the fact that Tallinn, Estonia and Turku, Finland are the two European Capitals of Culture in 2011.
