Canadian Friends of Finland (Montreal) will host author/journalist Eric Enno Tamm from Ottawa. He will give a talk, with photos, about his new book on Marshal Mannerheim’s epic trek on horseback to China: The Horse That Leaps Through Clouds: (A Tale of Espionage, the Silk Road and the Rise of Modern China).

Mr. Tamm will also be presenting a reading at the Blue Metropolis Festival on Sunday.

The MES sponsored ‘Lasteaed’ attracts many visitors. Parents are always invited to stay and join in with the mornings activities. There have been a few Saturdays when several drop-in visitors have come which has sometimes raised the total participation to more than 10 children. Contributions to help defray ongoing costs are always welcome as well.
