Howard Shrier’s 3rd Mystery Novel – Boston Cream

 

An award-winning mystery story writer, Howard Shrier, will be reading and signing books at three different events in Montreal – April 19, 20, and 21.

April 19, 7:00 p.m., Atwater Library: Announcement of the nominees for the 2012 Arthur Ellis Award – Canada’s highest prize for crime fiction. As a past winner (twice), Howard Shrier will be the guest of honour, reading briefly from each of his three Jonah Geller novels: Buffalo Jump, High Chicago and the latest, Boston Cream. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

The main character in his books is detective Jonah Geller, who has an Estonian partner, blonde bombshell Jenn Raudsepp.

It is interesting to note that Howard Shrier was a journalism student at Concordia University, where the longtime chairman of the department was Dr. Enn Raudsepp.
