The Montreal Baltic Artists’ Association (BAA) presented an exhibit of their member’s works of art, in conjunction with the Latvian Independence Day celebrations. The event was held on November 19 & 20, 2011 at the Latvian House in Lachine. The art exhibit was officially opened by the Honorary Latvian Consul in Montreal, Roberts Klaise, followed by the keynote address by Juris Audarins, the Latvian Ambassador to Canada. Estonian artists who participated in the exhibit were: Ann Kallaste-Kruzelecky, Mary Männapso and Hille Viires. The BAA Christmas party will take place at the Latvian House (3955 Provost, Lachine), on December 6, 2011 at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome. |
