Rogers Cup – August 13 – 22, 2010 On Monday, August 16, at 11:00 am, Kaia Kanepi (WTA 34) was at center court playing against Shahar Peer (WTA 17), whom she beat 6-3, 6-3. The match lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes. On Wednesday August 18, Kaia advanced to the third round by beating Austria’s Sybille Bammer 7-5, 6-2. In the third round (August 19) Kim Clijsters beat Kaia Kanepi 6-2, 6-1. They had met only once before, in 2006, when the Belgian was victorious as well. |
